What is Market Square Day? Well, it’s a great
celebration of the heart of what Portsmouth is all about – fun,
good times, friends, and great spirit. It’s day to enjoy great food, fun music
of all kinds, shopping, seeing old friends and making new ones, all in the very
heart of our great Port City of Portsmouth.
The 2008 Market Square Day Calendar of Events for Entertainment Schedule is just full of
awesome music and great bands in several places around the downtown area.
You’ll find over 100 vendor booths that will range from crafts to clothing to
jewelry to face-painting to all kinds of food booths, and everything in between.
Come for some great heart-of-Portsmouth fun – you’ll be glad
you did! Last
year’s Market Square Day was great fun, despite the rainy weather!
