Portsmouth NH Living – Let It Snow!!

Living here in Portsmouth NH is just a wonderful experience. And to me, there’s nothing like the peaceful serenity that a snowy winter day brings.
When it’s snowing, and for some time afterward, the blanket of snow just makes everything so quiet and peaceful. It muffles whatever sounds there might be, and it’s just beautiful to look at.
During a snowstorm, I can wake up in the middle of the night, and without looking outside, I can usually tell it’s either snowing or has snowed because of the sheer quietness a blanket of snow brings. You can hear that quiet and you can feel it inside, too. It’s just so soothing and calming.

My husband was born in Vermont and misses he New England weather. In fact, the family skies probably as a consequence of being raised in the Northeast. I love the snowy pic Ann. I followed your sig link from the Selsius blog.

Hey Monika – it doesn’t make me want any more snow, even though we have more coming today. Only a couple inches today – yay!! But it is really peaceful and beautiful when we get a fresh blanket of it.
