Portsmouth NH Homes ~ Market Information

Homes_in_Portsmouth_NH___Ann_Cummings_New_Hampshire_REALTOR.JPG
The Portsmouth New Hampshire real estate market is a busy one
due to this area being such a wonderful place to live, and we have
homes in all sizes and price ranges.

We have historic antique homes dating back to the 1600’s and
1700’s, newer construction homes, and everything in between.

Currently, in Portsmouth, we have 68 homes for sale, and they
range in price from $197,900 to $9,500,000.  Our housing styles in
this area cover ranch styles, capes, garrisons, federals, victorians,
New Englander (farmhouse styles), and colonials. Here are some pictures
of some of the homes around town:

To see a sampling of homes that have recently sold in Portsmouth, see this beautifully and lovingly remodelled 1900’s New Englander, and this simply gorgeous waterfront home.

I’ve prepared some graphs to show the market activity this year,
year-to-date 2007, and last year 2006, showing the same time
frame.  This will show you what the trend has been over the last
almost 2 years here in Portsmouth.  And I’ve also included the
statistics showing homes sold, selling prices, days on market, etc.

Portsmouth NH ~ Citywide Wi-Fi Coming Soon!

Welcome to Portsmouth NH

Portsmouth New Hampshire implemented a free wi-fi area
a couple of years or so ago in the downtown business area.  It’s
gone over so well and the use of it has grown so much that the City of
Portsmouth will be expanding our free wi-fi area

This new expansion will include most areas of the town,
and that is great news!  Terrific news for residents and
businesses alike!  And I’d bet our visitors will be loving having
access to free wireless internet while visiting our lovely seaside
town, too!

As we’ve heard on the news, a number of cities and towns around the
country are giving up their wi-fi networks, due to a variety of
reasons, mostly high costs of maintaining them and/or the systems that
were put in place were too complicated.  Many of those cities and
towns put their networks in place all at once, instead of phasing them
in slowly, which meant the systems grew outdated all at once due to
advancing technologies, and some found that their ‘partners’ in these
wi-fi systems just disappeared as the costs increased.

These are all things that Portsmouth has managed to buck the trend on.
wireless networking

How’d we do that, you ask?
